The last hours of 2018 are ticking and we are about to take a step to the new year! It has been a great and memorable year - let's remember the brightest moments and victories of the sports.

2018 NBA All Star game. The 67th match was held in Los Angeles. The format for this special match was somewhat different - instead of the usual Eastern and Western duel, this time the teams was formed by two captains, LeBron James and Stephen Curry. With the result 148-145, James's team celebrated the victory and the basketball player won his third MVP.

Euroleague Final Four in Belgrade. The impressive Kaunas Zalgiris season was crowned by the Euroleague bronze and the victory against Moscow's CSKA Club. Madrid Real and Istanbul Fenerbahce have collapsed in the final - the Spanish team won the 10th Euroleague Cup. MVP title went to Europe's basketball diamond Luka Dončič.

NBA Finals.  Oakland's Golden State Warriors won the series against Cleveland's Cavaliers 4-0. MVP title for the second year in a row went to Kevin Durant.

UEFA Champions League Final in Kiev. The Madrid Real team won the third consecutive title - no team had ever done this. Real won 3-1 against Liverpool team.

 

NBA Draft. With the first pick Phoenix Suns chose DeAndre Ayton. The European diamond Luka Dončič has also opened the doors of the world's strongest basketball league with the third pick.

 

NBA season MVP title. It was won by James Harden, an unmatched Houston Rockets defender, who scored an average of 30 points in every match, grabbed 8 rebounds, made 5 assists and 1.7 steals.

 

FIFA World Cup. The football fiesta lasting a month left no one indifferent - this sport was in everyone's life. Unexpectedly defeated favorites, impressive goals and a tough fight - championship hosted in Russia was crowned by an unstoppable triumph of France.
