In February, a shootaround video of Kevin Durant were leaked on social and caused a wave of joy for supporters awaiting for his return. At the same time, it was noticed that the NBA star foot was wearing new basketball shoes, so what has led to the guess - perhaps it is new KD series shoes? Looks like it's true - Nike has posted the first official photos of the Nike KD 13.

It is not yet clear when Durant's signature basketball shoes will be released, but it is speculated that sales will begin in the summer. Visually, the new model looks quite similar to its predecessor, the Nike KD 12. The mid-profile basketball shoes continue to retain the series-specific design for all-around player like KD.

Durant has repeatedly insisted that his basketball shoes should be comfortable and required that from Leo Chang, the main designer of the Nike KD series. Along with Nike's KD 12, a new structure debuted - the layer that was between the foot and the pillows has been removed from the shoes. Kevin Durant really liked this design solution and the Nike KD 13 will have the same structure.

KD‘s basketball shoes will debut with minimal upgrades – updated collar resembles Nike Dunk shoes, upper will be constructed of nylon mesh, also enlarged Nike swoosh and extends all the way to the sole.
